Hi! I’m Fey, the guy (he/him) behind Rising Tail. Based in Denmark, I’m a seasoned programmer and web developer for 20+ years turned spare time gamedev. I’m bad at math and I also can’t draw, so that’s unfortunate. But I’m making a game nonetheless! This website serves as a place for me to share #gamedev stuff. I focus mostly on technical/code stuff with the occasional wider gamedev life perspective sprinkled in.

I’m making a factory game

I started toying with a factory game concept back in the summer of 2020. With no real prior experience in game development (aside from a few tech demos), the first couple of months were basically just me trying to figure things out and learning to draw assets (which I still struggle with). I created the Steam store page in September 2020, and that’s when I committed to finish and release the game. It’s actually become a life goal of mine to have a game published on Steam.

As I’m writing this in May of 2022 the game is still in development, but things are looking bright.
